BuildSafe's Registration & Admin Fee

The upfront, GST exempt BUILDSAFE^® registration and administration fee payable by the Owner/Principal and the Contractor varies according to the value of the Contract Works from as little as $50 each up to a maximum of $337.50 each - much less than what it would cost to obtain a contract agreement for the project elsewhere.

The Security Amount

Under the BUILDSAFE® Security of Payment Scheme, BUILDSAFE® holds an amount of money called the Security Amount which is paid by the Owner.

The Security Amount is calculated to be roughly the equivalent of the deposit required by most contractors under typical building contracts. That amount is also roughly the equivalent of the final payment to be paid to the contractor under the contract.

BuildSafe's Registration & Admin Fee for Subcontractors

The registration and administration fee for subcontractors is $100.00 incl. GST

Adjudication

BuildSafe's Administration fee for any Adjudication is $100.00
For disputes relating to Practical Completion or Completion, the fee is a flat fee of $1,000.00
